Dr Zulfiqar Ali Kango is a clinician with 30 years of experience in dealing with complicated cases of internal medicine. His area of specialization includes: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Obesity and Auto immune disorders. Dr Kango did his MBBS from RMC in 1988.
Completed his Internship & Residency at FGSH/PIMS Islamabad &JPMC Karachi. Proceeded for training in Cardiology at Hammersmith Hospital London and National Heart and Lung Institute London in 1991. Later on he joined Pakistan Army Medical Corps. Completed 4 years residency in interventional Cardiology at AFIC/NIHD Rawalpindi, and 5 years training in Internal Medicine at various Military Hospitals in Medical Corps. He was awarded fellowship (FCPS) by college of Physicians and surgeons of Pakistan (CP&SP). He also acquired postgraduate diploma in cardiology from Royal Postgraduate Medical School & University of London. He holds MCPS from CP&SP Pakistan. He is also an academician with long teaching experience at postgraduate and undergraduate level. He is Assoc Professor in Medicine and remained actively involved in teaching MBBS and FCPS students. He is CPSP supervisor for FCPS in Internal Medicine.
His FCPS trained fellows are working all over Pakistan and overseas. He retired as Colonel from Pakistan Army Medical Corps. He has presented multiple papers and won awards in many conferences. He holds professional memberships of American Diabetic Association, & American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists

One of the best cardiologist and a Diabetalogist in town. As I took my mom to him. She has both conditions I mean heart and sugar. He was extremely corporative enough to come waiting area as my mom didn’t go his confined room due to space phobia.
He went through all of her medical history asked tons of good questions we found doctor is genuinely interested in treating his patient. Prescribed medicine of good brands as every Abc pharma is not clean in Pakistan. He understands psy of his patient too. My mom felt relax she responded optimally against insolene and medicine.
